  Boxing Rules

  1. Show RESPECT toward other members, coaches, and equipment.

  2. RESERVE your class and Open Gym spots, and CANCEL IN TIME if you can't make it (see reservation rules).

  3. NO NO-SHOWS. Reserving a spot and not showing up (“no-show”) is considered a violation of the Terms and Conditions. Gross or repeated violations of the Terms and Conditions may result in a ban from the premises (§9 Terms and Conditions).

4. Be ON TIME —every minute you're late costs 5 burpees (50 burpees if you're more than 10 minutes late or don't show up). The burpees are not optional!

5. NO DROPS during classes—unless permitted by the coach.

6. ADJUST the weights and exercises to the level that's right for you (making them easier or harder).

7. QUALITY over quantity—Don't increase weight or speed until you've mastered the movements.

8. Be MOTIVATED, but DON'T OVERDO IT —ignoring injuries sets you back instead of helping you progress.

9. ASK if there's something you don't understand.

10. Be HONEST —everyone can tell when your scores are better than your actual fitness level.

11. STAY until the end and cheer on the members who are still doing the WOD.

12. PUT AWAY your equipment and WIPE AWAY CHALK, SWEAT, and other marks—after everyone has finished the WOD.
